Finally, I can buy something for my Titas and Ates for Christmas. It's a beauty book by professional makeup artist Taylor Chang-Babaian titled Asian Faces. The book's publisher, Penguin Group, says that it's the first ever beauty book created specifically to focus on the techniques and styles that enhance the skin tones and facial features of Asian women of all ages and ethnicities. Current beauty how-to books out there are specifically targeted for white women and Asian Faces is kinda like a refreshing one because it actually deals with beautifying Asian people.

The book, of course, features fully illustrated step-by-step guide and pieces of advice on different aspects of makeup like makeup products and tools for the right skin tone, how to work with various face shapes, turning your look from day to night, and, my favoritest of all, creating the illusion of flawless skin.

What's left for me is to know when the book will hit Philippine shelves and how much this will cost me.
